Every now and then a project comes along that allows for a technical and creative challenge, while also providing an opportunity to test your skill set whilst being supported by the 'best in the business’. These AMEX commercials allowed 2D Films a chance to manage all things image, while working with quality at every level of production. An internationally recognised client, a Director and Agency from London and the ‘best of the West Aussies’ in terms of crew made for a professionally rewarding project.

Working with the ARRI ALEXA Mini and a cine zoom lens ranging from 17mm through to120mm allowed for some creative setups and shots, with time well spent in pre-lighting the set to allow for the efficient shoot ratio needed to achieve completion of multiple concepts, to be delivered at days end. It certainly was an enjoyable time collaborating closely with agency, producers, director and the international post-house. Pre-lighting, shooting, assisting camera and even an element of ‘performing’ all on the one project made for a full few days, but a rewarding experience indeed.
